Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Regan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Regan has chosen Thrift shop as his entrance music. Taylor Regan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Regan throws a jab but it's blocked by Brown.
Regan is looking to land body kicks.
Brown uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Regan.
Regan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Brown counters with a nice double leg into side control. Regan won't be happy with that.

Brown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Brown tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brown has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown trying to control the position but Regan is working away.
Regan tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Brown goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Regan has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Brown but great work by Regan.
Regan blocks the strikes from Brown.
Brown prevents Regan from moving into mount.
Brown gets back to half guard.

Regan seems to be looking for submissions.
Brown regains full guard. Nicely done.
Brown is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Brown wants to sweep here but Regan controlling him for the moment.
Brown seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Brown is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Regan defends well.

Brown has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Regan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Brown throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Regan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Brown is looking for a triangle but Regan pushes his legs off easily.
Regan won't allow Brown to sweep him here.

Regan has gone for a leg lock! Brown slips out almost immediately though and dives into Regan's guard.

Regan isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Brown stacks Regan on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Brown!

Brown cracks Regan with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Brown controls the position from side control.
Regan tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Brown lands a nice forearm strike.

Brown wants to control but Regan is keeping him busy.

Brown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Regan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Brown working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Brown in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Regan is trying to get back to half guard.

Regan wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Brown has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Regan's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Regan is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Brown!
