These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Tanner fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Heinonen sprawls well initially but Tanner persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Heinonen fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Tanner checks it well.

Heinonen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tanner's waist but Tanner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Heinonen off to one side.
