The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grand Master Yip Man dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Marcolini punishes Yip Man's body with a nice straight punch.
Marcolini swings for the body but Yip Man moves out of range.

Yip Man fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Marcolini avoids it really well and circles away.

Yip Man is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Marcolini gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Marco Marcolini has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grand Master Yip Man.

It looks like Grand Master Yip Man has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marcolini fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Yip Man.
A looping hook to the body misses from Marcolini. Yip Man does a little dance to reset his feet.
Marcolini swings for the body but Yip Man moves out of range.
Yip Man is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
