The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palemox lands a nice shot to the body.
Palemox misses with a series of wild punches.
Palemox uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Waters.

Waters closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Waters lands in his opponent's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Waters controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Palemox wants to stand but Waters is controlling the position.

Waters is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Palemox will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

A relieved looking Lemy Waters thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
