Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between TJ Wallis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Menezes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, TJ Wallis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Menezes!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menezes tries to clinch up.
Wallis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Menezes swivels and escapes.
Menezes tries to clinch but Wallis moves out of range.

Wallis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Menezes is trying to break the clinch but Wallis has him pressed against the cage.
Wallis prevents Menezes from breaking the clinch.
Wallis lands an elbow just above Menezes 's eye.

Wallis breaks the clinch.
Wallis throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A punch combination from Menezes misses.
Menezes throws a nice looking combination but Wallis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wallis goes for a double leg but Menezes avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Menezes continues to drive forward.
Menezes is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Wallis tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TJ Wallis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Menezes taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Wallis blocking some punches.
Wallis is trying to drag Menezes to the mat but Menezes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Menezes gets underhooks to prevent Wallis's takedown attempt.

Menezes has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Wallis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Menezes tries to clinch but Wallis is having none of it.
Menezes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wallis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wallis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Wallis pushes Menezes up against the cage in a clinch.
Wallis tries to throw a body punch but Menezes avoids it by throwing Wallis back against the cage.
Wallis fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Wallis changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Menezes fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Wallis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Menezes paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Menezes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Menezes fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wallis fails with the takedown.
Wallis fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Menezes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Wallis misses with a wild body shot.
Wallis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A jab from Menezes finds it's way through Wallis's defenses.
Wallis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wallis avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nice straight punches there by Wallis. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wallis.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Menezes throws a series of punches but Wallis moves out of range.
Menezes looks winded!
Wallis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Wallis lands with a slapping head kick.
Menezes throws a series of punches but Wallis moves out of range.
Wallis swats away the attempt to clinch by Menezes.
Menezes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wallis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Menezes tries to clinch but Wallis is having none of it.
Wallis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wallis scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Menezes tries to close the distance and clinch but Wallis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bryan Menezes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Menezes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wallis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Menezes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wallis somewhat.
Wallis takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Bryan Menezes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Menezes tries to clinch there but Wallis circles away.
Menezes throws a right hand that Wallis ducks under and follows up with a left that Wallis also avoids with ease.
Menezes tries to clinch up but Wallis circles away and keeps his distance.
Menezes moves in looking to clinch but Wallis pushes him off.
Wallis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Wallis misses with a takedown attempt - Menezes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wallis tries for a takedown but Menezes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Menezes darts in and clinches Wallis up against the cage.
Menezes taking a breather.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bryan Menezes will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Menezes tries to land a leg kick but Wallis saw it coming and moves away.
Wallis circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Menezes drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Wallis follows Menezes to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). TJ Wallis!
