PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JD Stylo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andre Silva had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stylo looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well.
Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stylo swivels and escapes.
Stylo throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.

Silva decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Silva is thwarting Stylo's attempts to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Stylo has managed to free his arm - good work.
Silva is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Stylo wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Silva.
Stylo is trying to escape the mount but Silva keeps good control and instead manages to take Stylo's back.
Stylo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stylo has hold of Silva's leg, trying to break free but it's let Silva lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Stylo is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Silva throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
