Webster has chosen Livin' On The Edge as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McWild swings widly with a right hand
and Webster counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
McWild scores with a jab to the jaw.

Webster gets caught napping as McWild dives in and scores a takedown. Webster manages to retain guard.
McWild might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

and Webster makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. McWild really felt that one!
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting McWild here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
McWild dives in and grabs Webster's left leg, looking for a takedown. Webster pushes down on McWild's head and hops out.

McWild fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Webster sprawls well initially but McWild persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
McWild is keen to just control but Webster is a slippery customer.
McWild is nestled in close to Webster, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McWild is stalling here. Webster is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! McWild seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Webster has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

My spies in Sensei Sens's & co. Gym inform me that Webster has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

It looks like Chris Webster has been cut.
McWild tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Webster just stands there and leans against the cage.

McWild avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Webster lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McWild has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McWild and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Jeffry McWild showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for McWild, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
