The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Satriani shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Satriani showed some decent athleticism there.

Satriani decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Trybson, up you get!
Satriani changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Trybson tries to avoid it but Satriani manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Trybson to the ground. Trybson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Trybson tries to clinch up but Satriani circles away and keeps his distance.
Satriani shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Trybson sprawls well. Trybson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Satriani gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Satriani. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trybson lands with a nice combination. Satriani backs away looking to recover.
