Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mauricio Pettis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujita changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pettis tries to avoid it but Fujita manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pettis to the ground. Pettis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fujita shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pettis but Pettis pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fujita shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pettis as he jumps to the side.
Mauricio Pettis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akira Fujita.
Nice takedown defense from Fujita. No joy for Pettis on that attempt.
Fujita throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pettis moves into the clinch.
Pettis stalls.
Pettis has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Fujita is trying to keep an underhook but Pettis manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Fujita is controlling Pettis's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Fujita has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pettis is working away from the top position though.
Fujita tries to roll over but Pettis keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pettis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fujita doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pettis.

Fujita is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Pettis has his hands clasped together but Fujita extends and breaks Pettis's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Fujita.
