Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Pena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pena misses with a double jab.
Hart throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hart pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
We've been informed that Pena has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Pena throws a nice looking combination but Hart bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We've been hearing good reports from Hart's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Pena might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Hart has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
