The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beach throws a head kick but Brit moves out of range.
Brit throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Beach.
Beach uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brit.
Beach lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Johnny Brit has been cut.
Brit throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Brit walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Beach pushes Brit up against the cage in a clinch.

Brit pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Beach stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Beach lands a big right hand that sends Brit crashing to the mat! Beach stays standing though and waves Brit back to his feet!
Beach connects with a body shot that sends Brit's belly button to the back.
August Beach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Beach.
Brit misses with a jab, cross combination.
Brit cracks Beach with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Beach tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Beach paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Brit looks to throw the jab but Beach is out of range.
Beach misses with a straight right.
Good exchange - Beach coming out on top.

Johnny Brit's cut is getting worse.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Beach uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Brit.

Brit lands with a nice body punch.
Beach looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Brit jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Beach uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brit.

Brit tries to keep at a distance but Beach has taken the fight into the clinch.
Beach misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A right hand to the body from Beach.
Beach misses with a hook to the ribs.

Beach doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Beach swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Brit is trying to force a seperation but Beach has the dominant position.
A bit of stalling here from Beach.
Beach has Brit pressed against the cage, preventing Brit from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Brit as Beach tries to tie him up.

Beach misses with a hook from the clinch.

Brit breaks from the clinch.

Beach lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Beach lands with an overhand left.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brit blocks a head kick by Beach.
Beach looks to land a body kick but Brit moved away.
Beach is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Brit had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and Brit counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Beach! This one is all over!
