The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Shortcut throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
De Groote misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
De Groote on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Shortcut clobbers De Groote with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
De Groote dodges the punch combination from Shortcut.

Shortcut looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shortcut throws a body punch but De Groote moves out of range.
Shortcut keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Shortcut sizes up De Groote with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
