Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harry Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Barbari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rock looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Rock wants to get up but he can't break Barbari's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Barbari is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Rock is working for a kimura but Barbari is defending it quite comfortably.

and Barbari counters with a shoot takedown. Rock fights it but they end up in guard.

Rock has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barbari can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Barbari is working for a guillotine from mount but Rock frees his head quite easily.

Barbari is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Barbari gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Barbari gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Barbari apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Rock gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Rock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Barbari gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rock is looking for a triangle here but Barbari uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Barbari lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rock down.

The referee asks Barbari politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Barbari prefers to stall for the moment though.

Well Barbari has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
