Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eldon Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hoshobd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoshobd stuffs the takedown attempt from Mack. Mack gets slowly back to his feet.
Hoshobd shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mack as he jumps to the side.
Mack looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hoshobd is fending him off so far but Mack persists. Nope, Hoshobd circles away and we're back to standing.
Hoshobd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mack swivels and escapes.
Hoshobd shoots in for a takedown but Mack shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Mack counters with a head kick.
Mack goes for a double leg but Hoshobd avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hoshobd continues to drive forward.

Mack has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hoshobd uses from the top position.

Nice takedown defense from Mack. No joy for Hoshobd on that attempt.

Hoshobd bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Mack bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Mack really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That was a close round but I would say that Eldon Mack will probably get the nod.

Hoshobd shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mack's guard.

Mack stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mack wants it to stay on the feet.
Hoshobd tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mack sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hoshobd somewhat.
Jack Hoshobd has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Eldon Mack is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hoshobd is defended easily by Mack.
