The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fisher throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sam Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carneiro.
Sam Fisher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roan Carneiro.
Carneiro shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fisher pinned against the cage. Fisher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Carneiro tries to keep at a distance but Fisher has taken the fight into the clinch.
Carneiro is pressed up against the cage. Fisher has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Carneiro down to the mat. Carneiro avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Carneiro fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fisher looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fisher looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fisher throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carneiro's waist but Carneiro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fisher off to one side.
Fisher tries to clinch up but Carneiro circles away and keeps his distance.

Fisher shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Carneiro defends it nicely.

Fisher throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Carneiro avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Fisher misses with a body kick.
Fisher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Carneiro darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Carneiro works his foot free and advances to mount.
Fisher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carneiro on the ground.

Carneiro lands a big shot there that rocks Fisher but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

You can see the frustration on Fisher's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Carneiro is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Fisher is tapping out! This one is all over!
