Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Waldo Macdonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zack Miller!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller is looking to clinch but Macdonald is avoiding it.
Miller dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Macdonald rushes Miller and presses him up against the cage.

Macdonald pulls guard effortlessly.
Miller throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Macdonald holds on and takes a little breather.
Macdonald wants to sweep but no luck.
Macdonald pulls Miller in close to prevent any damage.
Miller wants to control from the top but Macdonald keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Miller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Macdonald is fending him off so far but Miller persists. Nope, Macdonald circles away and we're back to standing.

Macdonald shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Macdonald showed some decent athleticism there.
Macdonald is looking to advance position but Miller won't allow it.
Macdonald perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Macdonald's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Macdonald looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Miller tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Macdonald presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Macdonald seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Miller for as long as he can get away with.

Miller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Macdonald is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Waldo Macdonald overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Macdonald is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Miller defends it well.
Miller has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Macdonald is working away from the top position though.

Miller is looking to clinch.
Macdonald loads up on a big right hand but Miller slips the punch.
Macdonald looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Macdonald misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Miller misses with a series of wild punches.

Macdonald shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Macdonald is defended easily by Miller.

Macdonald fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Miller sprawls well initially but Macdonald persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
