Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Tillman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Heart Attack-Demi Lovato. Jon Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hugh Tillman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to clinch up.

Tillman forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.

Tillman jumps into guard, dragging Jones to the mat.
Tillman wants to sweep but no luck.
Jones sitting in guard here, content to control.

Tillman is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.

Jon Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Tillman gets a double leg takedown into Jones's guard.
Jones has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Tillman has passed into side control.
Tillman tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tillman in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Tillman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Tillman wants to stand but Jones has his arm trapped.
Tillman laying and praying for a moment but Jones takes advantage and regains half guard.

Tillman winds up and cracks Jones with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is looking to control Tillman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted?

Tillman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jones is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Jones tries to get back to half guard but can't.
What's Jones going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Tillman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jones is looking to regain half guard here but Tillman keeps moving and retains side control.
Tillman wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy.

Jones pushes Tillman away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tillman gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Tillman tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Tillman wants to take a breather but Jones manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Tillman.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tillman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Tillman feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Tillman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hugh Tillman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tillman defends it easily.
Jones is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tillman manages to get himself to full guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Tillman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jones looks for a takedown but Tillman sprawls well.
Jones throws a leg kick that misses.

Tillman has managed to clinch.

Tillman trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Tillman from controlling successfully.

Jones wants to get back to his feet but Tillman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Tillman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tillman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Tillman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tillman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tillman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tillman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Tillman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jones manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tillman has Jones in his guard.
Jones is looking to stand up but Tillman won't let him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tillman controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.
Jones stopping the sweep attempt from Tillman.

Hugh Tillman showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Tillman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
