The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willems misses with a jab, cross combination.
Willems attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Willems swings for the body but Rodriguez moves out of range.

Rodriguez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Willems's guard.
Rodriguez is looking to work some ground and pound but Willems has wrist control.
Willems looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rodriguez is one step ahead there.

Rodriguez has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Willems to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rodriguez is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Willems pulls down on the head and he's put Rodriguez to sleep! This one is all over!
