Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwyane Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim Lee will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwyane Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Lee!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Johnson counters by moving into the clinch.
Johnson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lee goes for a takedown attempt but Johnson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Johnson misses with a head kick.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dwyane Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Lee.
Lee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily.
Lee tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Johnson defends well and Lee ends up having to push Johnson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Johnson has Lee pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lee manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Lee jumps guard and drags Johnson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Lee is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lee manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Lee's guard.

Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Johnson postures up in Lee's guard and throws a big left but Lee blocks it.

Johnson throws a strike but Lee rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Johnson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lee wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jim Lee.

Lee takes the fight into the clinch.
Johnson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lee gets the underhooks and prevents it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Johnson throws out a loose jab but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it.

Lee shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well.

Johnson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lee.

Johnson throws a series of punches but Lee avoids them all with ease.

Lee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Lee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Johnson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lee, up you get!
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.

Jim Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Johnson leaves Lee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
