Pettis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Anderson. That did some damage!

Pettis clinches up against the cage.

Pettis manages to break the clinch.
Anderson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pettis circles away.
Anderson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Pettis goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Anderson is rocked!
A head kick by Pettis - that's a beauty! Anderson is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Pettis can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

A relieved looking Anthony Pettis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
