Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andy Tanner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anton Kuivanen!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuivanen misses with a takedown attempt - Tanner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tanner is looking to clinch but Kuivanen is avoiding it.
Kuivanen wants to clinch up but Tanner keeps it at a distance.
Kuivanen scores with a leg kick.
Tanner looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kuivanen looks to land a right hand but Tanner moved out of range.
Kuivanen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kuivanen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tanner's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Tanner throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Kuivanen has gone for a leg lock! Tanner slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kuivanen's guard.
Tanner trying to control the position from guard on top but Kuivanen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuivanen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tanner is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kuivanen.
Tanner cracks Kuivanen with a big right hand but Kuivanen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Tanner wants to stand but Kuivanen has his arm trapped.
An elbow from Tanner crashes against the mat.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kuivanen can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kuivanen is looking for a sweep.
Tanner controls the position.
Tanner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kuivanen keeps working.
Kuivanen tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tanner is looking to take a break and control but Kuivanen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tanner wants to stand but Kuivanen is controlling his arm.
Kuivanen is looking to regain half guard here but Tanner keeps moving and retains side control.
Tanner misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Tanner controlling the position from side mount.
Tanner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kuivanen prevents Tanner from moving into mount.

Kuivanen looking for a sweep but Tanner has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Tanner postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kuivanen looks a forlorn figure.
Tanner swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
