Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Takeya is defended easily by Silva.
Takeya definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Takeya shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense.
Takeya closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Takeya is putting a hurting on Silva here, landing some big shots from side control.
Silva is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Takeya asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Takeya has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silva tries to escape but Takeya is in control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.

It looks like Charles Silva has been cut.
Silva takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Silva is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takeya in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Silva looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Takeya turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
