The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emong I looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nation lands a nice looking body kick.
Emong I fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Nation is out of range.
Emong I takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Manong Emong I has been cut.
A head kick misses from Nation.
Nation rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Emong I counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Emong I shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Nation pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nation misses with a looping right.
Nation throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Emong I counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Nation takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

enabling Emong I to counter with a crisp jab.
Emong I ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nation moves away.
Nation looks to throw the jab but Emong I is out of range.
Emong I swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nation tries to close the distance and clinch up but Emong I swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nation throws a jab when Emong I was well out of range.
Nation misses with a left hand
and Emong I counters with a right hand to the body.
Nation throws a jab but it's blocked by Emong I.
Arab Nation seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emong I moves out of range as Nation strikes.

Nation gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Nation moves forwards but Emong I connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Emong I tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Emong I tests Nation's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Emong I tries to work over Nation's front leg with a kick but Nation checks it.
Emong I looks to land a combination but Nation avoids it well.

and Emong I counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Nation goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Nation looks to land a right hand but Emong I moved out of range.
Nation thows a body kick. Emong I tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Nation tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Emong I counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nation feints and then cracks Emong I's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Emong I down.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nation throws a looping overhand right but Emong I ducks down to avoid it.

and Emong I counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arab Nation dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Emong I looks to score with a jab to the body but Nation is just out of range.
Emong I moves out of range of the strikes.
Emong I pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

and Emong I makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Nation connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Emong I momentarily.
Nation looks to land a left hand but Emong I moved out of range nicely.
Nation lands with a nice body kick.
Nation jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Emong I cracks Nation with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Emong I lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Nation throws an overhand right that lands on Emong I's shoulder, as Emong I tries to avoid the shot.
Nation looks to throw the jab but Emong I is out of range.
Nation is looking to clinch but Emong I is avoiding it.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Nation.
Nation misses with a hook.
Emong I motions for Nation to come forward. Emong I throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Emong I takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Emong I has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nation.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Donk. Nation catches Emong I right on the button with a cross.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Nation engages and cracks Emong I with a massive lead left hook - Emong I tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Nation is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
