Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paulione Scneider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig List (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scneider comes to the cage accompanied by UnderGroundKings. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Scneider misses.
Paulione Scneider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Scneider jabbing away but nothing is landing.
List takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Scneider throws out a powerful jab.
List changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Scneider tries to avoid it but List manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Scneider to the ground. Scneider escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Scneider shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches List napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
List tries to control but Scneider manages to take his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've been hearing good reports from Scneider's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Scneider has control of List's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and List regains control of the situation pretty easily.
List tries to hold on but Scneider pushes him away.
Scneider lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Scneider lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

List tries to lock up and control but Scneider gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Scneider takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

List closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Scneider to the mat! Scneider manages to get full guard.

Horrible takedown by List or perhaps it was just good defense by Scneider which made him look bad.

Scneider throws a hook to the side of List's head but List sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Scneider shoots in and bounces List off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Scneider tries to free his leg and advance position but List is retaining full guard.

List wants to sweep but no luck.
List keeps trying to improve his position.
List is trying to control the position but Scneider postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

A punch lands to the side of List 's head but he takes it in his stride.

List has Scneider pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. List pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Scneider tumbling to the mat - List dives into Scneider's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Paulione Scneider will probably get the nod.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw List working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
List not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Paulione Scneider overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
List is looking to stall here but Scneider recovers full guard.
Scneider wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Scneider has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think List should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Scneider has tightened it up now! List should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
