Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jones Toron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Weidman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Weidman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weidman scores with a push kick.
Weidman goes for a double leg but Toron avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Toron continues to drive forward.

Toron escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Toron moves into range and clinches up with Weidman.

Toron gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Weidman regains guard.
Toron is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Toron wants to control from the top but Weidman keeps moving.

Toron wants to pass the guard but Weidman is keeping the position.

Weidman felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Toron slows the pace down.
Toron definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Weidman is looking to reverse the position.

Toron cracks Weidman with a big right hand but Weidman just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
