PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Edward Richtofen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Darko throws a series of strikes that have Richtofen backpedaling.

It looks like Edward Richtofen has been cut.
We've been informed that Darko has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Darko throws an overhand right that lands on Richtofen's shoulder, as Richtofen tries to avoid the shot.
Darko fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Richtofen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Richtofen looks low and kicks high, catching Darko right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
