The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korotkov shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jones just misses with a punch to the body.

Korotkov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.

Jakoba Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Artem Korotkov.
Korotkov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jones. Jones circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Korotkov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Korotkov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Korotkov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Korotkov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Jones lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Korotkov shoots in looking for a takedown but Jones manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Korotkov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Korotkov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Jones bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Korotkov's head backwards.
Korotkov is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Korotkov switches off momentarily and Jones cracks him with a monster right hand! Korotkov topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Jones dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Jones!

In his post fight interview, Jakoba Jones started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
