Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conner Triton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conner Triton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes tries to clinch up but Triton circles away and keeps his distance.
Hughes tries to clinch but Triton is having none of it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hughes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Triton's waist but Triton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hughes off to one side.
Triton scores with a nice body kick.
Triton tries a head kick but it misses.
Triton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hughes blocks a head kick by Triton.
Hughes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Triton manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hughes on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Triton. Triton obviously looking to wear him down.

Hughes has been working on his balance at Lawson MMA (UK), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Triton.

Triton goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Triton thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hughes if he has to take too many more of those.

Triton throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hughes tries to close the distance and clinch but Triton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hughes moves in looking to clinch but Triton pushes him off.
Hughes walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Triton lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Triton blocks a head kick by Hughes.
Oh Hughes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A telegraphed right hand from Hughes misses the target.
A slapping leg kick lands for Triton.
Hughes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hughes seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hughes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hughes is breathing heavily.
Triton scores with a spinning back kick!
Hughes tries to clinch up.
Triton is looking to slow Hughes down with leg kicks.
Triton lands a head kick. Hughes smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Triton lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hughes at a distance.
Hughes tries to clinch up but Triton circles away and keeps his distance.
Triton connects with a solid leg kick.
Triton connects with a body shot that sends Hughes's belly button to the back.
Triton throws a sloppy head kick and Hughes moves out of range easily.

Triton throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Hughes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Triton lands a big head kick that sends Hughes tumbling to the mat! Triton takes a step backwards and waves Hughes back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hughes will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Triton keeps the fight on the outside.
The fighters circle, before Triton throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Hughes's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Triton lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
