The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mysterio Jr thumps Apple with a low kick.
Mysterio Jr throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Apple keeps the fight on the outside.
Apple tries a head kick but it misses.
Horrible takedown by Apple or perhaps it was just good defense by Mysterio Jr which made him look bad.
Mysterio Jr stuffs the takedown.
Apple is looking to clinch.
Mysterio Jr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Apple has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mysterio Jr looks to land a body kick but Apple moved away.
Mysterio Jr lands a nice looking body kick.
Mysterio Jr looks to land a left hand but Apple moved out of range nicely.
Apple looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mysterio Jr throws a leg kick that is checked
and Apple counters with a body kick that stops Mysterio Jr in his tracks momentarily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mysterio Jr.

Apple shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Apple was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mysterio Jr is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Apple off and has taken his back!

Mysterio Jr working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Apple is doing well to defend. Mysterio Jr seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Apple is forced to tap and this one is over!
