The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva is looking to clinch.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bomb tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bomb to the ground. Bomb escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bomb tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silva walks into a left hand.
It looks like Jossie Silva has been cut.
Silva has a takedown stuffed.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bomb swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bomb paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Silva is looking to clinch but Bomb is avoiding it.
Silva wants to clinch up but Bomb keeps it at a distance.
Silva drops his hands momentarily. Bomb doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Silva staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Silva doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
