Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fuzzy Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Glover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fuzzy Khan!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan has managed to clinch.
Glover takes an elbow to the forehead.
A left hand lands to the body for Khan.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Khan obliges.
Glover's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Khan creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Glover's defenses.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Khan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Glover is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Khan to keep the fight standing.

Glover tries to pull guard but Khan holds him up against the cage and eventually Glover drops back down to his feet.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Glover. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Khan takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Khan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Khan manages to end up in side control.
You can see the frustration on Glover's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Glover manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glover wants to work for an arm triangle but Khan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Glover wants to free his trapped foot but Khan is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Khan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Khan is on top in guard.
Khan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Glover has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Khan has managed to get both his arms back between Glover's legs - danger averted.

Khan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Glover swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Glover takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Glover definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Khan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Glover. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Glover tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Khan presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Glover tries to lock up and control but Khan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Khan is pressing down on Glover's thigh, looking to free his foot. Glover is holding on for now.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Glover makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Glover.

Khan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Glover isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Khan stacks Glover on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Khan!
Fuzzy Khan has got the better of the ground game so far.
The referee asks Khan politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Khan prefers to stall for the moment though.

Glover struggling a bit here.
Glover tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Khan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Khan is staying tight to Glover's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Fuzzy Khan.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fuzzy Khan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Khan comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Glover stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Khan is on him like rabid pit bull! Glover slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fuzzy Khan!
Danny Glover spoke after the fight, saying 'I lost because my opponent spiked my drink with snake venom last night at the bar. I feel sick. '.
