The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots in looking for a takedown. Harper tries to sprawl out of it but Santos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Santos moves out of range of the leg kick from Harper.
Santos tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Harper is able to avoid easily.
Santos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Harper shoots in for a takedown but Santos shows good takedown defense.
Harper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Santos looks to land a left hand but Harper moved out of range nicely.
Harper throws a leg kick which misses Santos's front leg but catches the back leg as Santos tries to avoid it.

Harper is pressed up against the cage. Santos has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Harper down to the mat. Harper avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Santos is stalling here. Harper is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Santos seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Harper has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
