The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nickoson has McGraf up against the cage in a clinch.
McGraf is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Nickoson is keeping busy.
Nickoson creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Nickoson looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Still in the clinch, Nickoson scores with a nice short uppercut.

McGraf felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Nickoson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
McGraf seems to have recovered his senses.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
