Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fergus Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanley Stuus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitchell comes to the cage accompanied by Get Up. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuus thuds his shin into the meat of Mitchell's side.
Stuus lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Mitchell with a lazy takedown attempt
and Stuus counters with a nice body shot.
Stuus listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Stuus drives through with a takedown into Mitchell's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Stuus lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Stuus stays in close to Mitchell's body and controls the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Stuus trying to control the position from guard on top but Mitchell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stuus wants to free his trapped foot but Mitchell is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Stuus trying to control from half guard but Mitchell is working away.
Stuus looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Mitchell won't allow Stuus to pass to mount.
Stuus sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mitchell defending well though.
Stuus throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Stuus lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Mitchell looks like he's trying to stand up.

Stuus missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Stuus is working for a submission of some sort.
Stuus is trying to control the action in half guard but Mitchell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stuus lands a nice short elbow.

Stuus is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Stuus moves nicely into side control.

Stuus is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mitchell is trying to escape and Stuus transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mitchell is forced to tap! Nice work there by Stuus! Very nice indeed!
