Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Rawley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cody Bowens!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Bowens.
Bowens throws a series of strikes that have Rawley backpedaling.

Rawley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bowens looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Rawley decides to stand back up. Rawley steps back and let's Bowens get back to his feet.
Bowens misses with a two punch combination.
Bowens throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rawley lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rawley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bowens on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bowens throws a body punch but Rawley moves out of range.

Rawley closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bowens to the mat! Bowens manages to get full guard.
Rawley won't allow Bowens to sweep him here.
Bowens seems keen to control Rawley's posture.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bowens looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rawley is one step ahead there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rawley has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bowens is proving hard to escape from.
Bowens is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rawley tries to stand but Bowens is controlling from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
No joy there for Rawley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rawley walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bowens checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bowens throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Rawley to counter with a crisp jab.
Bowens swings for the body but Rawley moves out of range.
Bowens fails to land with a series of punches.

Bowens is rocked!
Bowens walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Rawley! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Daniel Rawley!
Daniel Rawley spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
