The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Corleone.
Rush is pushing Corleone's head away, looking to escape. Corleone manages to hold on to the position though.
Corleone wants to control but Rush is keeping him busy.
Corleone works to advance to full mount. Rush defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Rush wants to hold on but Corleone pushes him away.
Corleone takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Corleone lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Rush tries to hold on but Corleone postures up.
Corleone is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rush can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Corleone can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rush is looking to escape.

Corleone should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Corleone moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Rush has worked his arm free - good work by Rush!
Oh Rush is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rush is looking to reverse the position.
Corleone is working Rush over with some ground and pound from side control.

Rush turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Corleone off and cradles Rush's limp body as Corleone celebrates with his corner.
