PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wade Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Gulper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson comes to the cage accompanied by Sweep the Leg. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson fails with the takedown.
Wilson shoots in for a double leg but Gulper sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wilson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gulper's waist but Gulper gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wilson off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wade Wilson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gulper tries to clinch but Wilson moves out of range.
Gulper lands a head shot.
Gulper drops Wilson with a right and a left! Gulper comes rushing in but Wilson regains his composure and manages to keep Gulper in guard.

Wilson is rocked!

It looks like Wade Wilson has been cut.
Gulper trying to control but Wilson is working from the bottom.
Oh Wilson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wilson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gulper's guard.
Wilson seems to have got his legs back now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wilson works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Wilson seems to be working for a kimura but Gulper defends the submission attempt.
Gulper tries to roll over but Wilson keeps him under control.
Gulper is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Wilson is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Gulper has managed to free his arm - good work.
Wilson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gulper!

Gulper is desperately trying to improve his position but Wilson has a good base and remains in mount.
Gulper tries to hold on but Wilson postures up.

Wilson quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Wilson but it's paid off an Gulper is forced to tap! Nice work by Wilson.
