Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Great Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Glass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bob might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Grandpa. Glass has chosen Birdman ft. Drake& Lil wayne-Money To Blow as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Great Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Glass!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Bob as Glass shoots in.
Bob throws a leg kick which misses Glass's front leg but catches the back leg as Glass tries to avoid it.
Nice takedown defense from Bob. No joy for Glass on that attempt.

Bob instigates a clinch.

Glass pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Glass throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Glass is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Glass escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bob gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Glass not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bob trying to control the position from guard on top but Glass is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bob has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Bob throws a series of punches but Glass avoids them all with ease.

Glass shoots in for a double leg but Bob sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Great Bob has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Glass.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Glass avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Glass shoots in but no luck this time.

It looks like Mark Glass has been cut.

Bob throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bob scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Bob buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Glass fails with a takedown attempt.
Bob tries to clinch up.

Bob wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bob lands a nice looking body shot.
Bob throws a leg kick which misses Glass's front leg but catches the back leg as Glass tries to avoid it.
Bob throws a right and a left that Glass avoids nicely.

Bob has closed the distance and engaged Glass in a clinch.

Bob pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Great Bob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Glass takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bob. That's going to slow Glass down.
Bob lands a nice hook to Glass's body. Glass takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bob will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bob.
Bob fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Glass.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Glass tries to pull guard but Bob won't allow it.

Great Bob is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bob tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Glass paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Glass fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Glass throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bob's waist but Bob gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Glass off to one side.

Glass on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Glass takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Bob moves in looking to clinch but Glass pushes him off.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bob moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bob moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bob connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Great Bob is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bob tries to clinch up but Glass circles away and keeps his distance.
Bob throws a right and a left that both miss.

And that's the end of the fight!
Great Bob showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bob, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
