And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Daniel wants it to stay on the feet.
Frederick throws a front kick aimed at Daniel's knee but Daniel avoids it well.
Daniel fails in his attempt to clinch.
Frederick misses with a low kick.
Daniel doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Frederick counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Daniel wants to sweep here but Frederick controlling him for the moment.
Frederick is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Frederick advances position into side control!

Frederick is trying to get an arm triangle but Daniel is defending well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Frederick wants to lay and pray for a moment but Daniel keeps working.
Frederick controls the position.
Frederick working the ground and pound but Daniel is defending the strikes.
Daniel takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Frederick looks up at the clock and then as Daniel takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Frederick smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Frederick is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Daniel is trying to escape and Frederick transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Daniel is forced to tap! Nice work there by Frederick! Very nice indeed!
