Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Carrington!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stanley Stuus!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrington scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Carrington keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Carrington swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Carrington loads up on a big right hand but Stuus slips the punch.
Carrington throws a good cross that connects.
Carrington throws a jab but it's blocked by Stuus.

Carrington looks to score with a jab to the body but Stuus is just out of range.
Carrington keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Carrington takes a swing at Stuus's ribcage but misses.
Stuus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carrington.

Stuus turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Stuus ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Carrington missing with a left hand there. Stuus was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Carrington has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Stuus closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Carrington to the mat! Carrington manages to get full guard.

Stuus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carrington swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stuus drops back looking for a leg! Carrington is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carrington manages to kick Stuus off! Stuus jumps back into Carrington's guard.

Stuus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stuus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Stuus throws a big elbow that misses.

Carrington looking for a guillotine here but Stuus defends easily.

Stuus is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Stuus lands a couple of digs.
Stuus is looking to work some ground and pound but Carrington has wrist control.
Carrington will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Stuus wants to pass the guard but Carrington is keeping the position.
Carrington preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Carrington is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Stuus is in close to Carrington's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Stuus passes easily into side control. Nice work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stuus is looking to take a break and control but Carrington is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Stuus throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Carrington takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Stuus dodges the punch combination from Carrington.
Carrington scores with a nice strike.
Stuus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A slow jab from Stuus misses its intended target.
Carrington throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stuus.
Carrington lands a lovely overhand right.
Stuus uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Carrington.
Carrington throws a jab but it's blocked by Stuus.
Carrington does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Stuus shoots for a takedown but Carrington saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Stuus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Carrington, pushing him back against the cage.

Carrington tries to throw a body punch but Stuus avoids it by throwing Carrington back against the cage.

Stuus breaks the clinch.
Stuus takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Carrington lands a nice shot to the body.
Stuus fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carrington avoids it really well and circles away.
Paul Carrington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stanley Stuus.
Stuus throws a sloppy head kick and Carrington moves out of range easily.
A jab from Carrington misses.
Carrington throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stuus staying out of range there.
Carrington misses with a two punch combination.
Carrington is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Stuus, right into the meat.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Stuus throws a front kick that sends Carrington stumbling back into the cage.
Carrington rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stuus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Carrington misses with an uppercut.
Stuus cracks a nice hook into Carrington's ribs.
Carrington on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Stuus keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Carrington.

Stuus feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Stuus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carrington has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stuus has managed to get both his arms back between Carrington's legs - danger averted.
Stuus passes Carrington's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Stuus passes the guard and advances to mount!
Stuus lands a nice shot to the head.

Carrington is rocked!
Stuus postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Carrington badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Stuus around the waist but Stuus pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Stuus is the winner by TKO! Stuus jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stanley Stuus!
