Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Sanches (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanches has chosen Breaking Benjamin - Ordinary Man as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Yu!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Renato Sanches!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yu misses with a body kick.
Yu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Yu is looking to clinch but Sanches is avoiding it.
Yu takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Jack Yu has been cut.
Sanches swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sanches walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The crowd cheers as Sanches lands an impressive looking overhand right. Yu doesn't seem phased though.
Yu lands a head shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sanches avoids the body shot from Yu.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sanches. Yu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Yu connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Sanches lands a right hook to the body.
Sanches cracks a nice hook into Yu's ribs.

Sanches feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Yu sprawling to the canvas! Yu rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sanches finish him?!

Yu is rocked!
Yu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Yu is looking to clinch.
Yu walks straight into a right hand from Sanches - that's dropped him! Sanches jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Yu from any more punishment! Yu complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Renato Sanches! Renato Sanches retains his heavyweight title!
