Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sven Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kia Turunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sven Svensson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svensson looks for a takedown but Turunen sprawls well.

Svensson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Turunen, pushing him back against the cage.
Svensson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Svensson manages to break the clinch.
Svensson lands an overhand right.
Turunen shoots for a takedown but Svensson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Svensson fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sven Svensson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Turunen goes for a double leg but Svensson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Svensson continues to drive forward.
Turunen tries to pull guard but Svensson holds him up against the cage and eventually Turunen drops back down to his feet.

Svensson pulls guard effortlessly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Svensson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Turunen drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Turunen as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Svensson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Turunen! Nice submission victory there!
