Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ka Bann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timoteo Imada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imada takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Bann gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Imada is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bann is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Imada tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Imada has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bann is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Imada asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Imada goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bann rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Imada's guard! Nice work there by Bann!

Imada is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bann wanted to stand there but Imada had control of the position.

Imada escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bann gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Imada has his foot on Bann's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bann works his way back into a safe position though.

Imada is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bann is aware though and is defending well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bann feints and then cracks Imada's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Imada down.

Bann moves into range and clinches up with Imada.

Bann tries to land a leg kick but Imada saw it coming and moves away.
Bann looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bann looks to land a combination but Imada avoids it well.
Bann turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ka Bann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bann is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bann pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Imada back to the cage. Bann follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Timoteo Imada has been cut.

Bann breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bann scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

That was a close round but I would say that Ka Bann will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bann moves into range and clinches up with Imada.

Bann escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Imada blocks a low kick nicely.
Bann lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bann.

Imada avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Imada keeps the fight on the outside.
Imada circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bann throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Bann fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Imada, pushing him back against the cage.

Bann is pressed up against the cage. Imada has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bann down to the mat. Bann avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Imada has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Bann throws a series of punches but Imada avoids them all with ease.

and Imada makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Bann really felt that one!
Bann feints a jab promting Imada to slip. Bann then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Imada slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ka Bann is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bann tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Imada manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bann is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bann tries to close the distance and clinch up but Imada swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Imada checks a low kick from Bann.
Bann lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Imada circles away quickly and effectively.
Bann feints and then cracks Imada's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Imada down.

Bann lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Imada goes down and covers up as Bann starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
