Olynyk is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jag - Versace. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Olynyk was well out of range. Poor timing from Lopez.
Lopez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Nebojsa Lopez has been cut.
Lopez blocks the body kick.
Lopez is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lopez shoots in but Olynyk avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lopez blocks a head kick by Olynyk.
Lopez throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Lopez throws a hook but Olynyk avoids it easily.
Olynyk looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lopez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lopez fails with a takedown attempt.

Lopez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Olynyk sprawls well. Olynyk wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lopez gets slowly back to his feet.

Lopez closes the distance looking to clinch
and Olynyk counters with a body kick.

Olynyk fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Lopez to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Lopez looks to clinch but Olynyk throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Lopez taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
