Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Stien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua has chosen Roy Jones - Can't be touched as his entrance music. Ben Stien has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mauricio Rua!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stien scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Rua shoots in looking for a takedown. Stien tries to sprawl out of it but Rua keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stien manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rua escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stien gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rua isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Stien stacks Rua on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Stien!

Stien looks up at the clock and then as Rua takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Stien smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stien cracks Rua with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Stien immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Rua is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Stien!

After winning the bout, Ben Stien thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
