PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdul Benson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wrathion Blackwing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blackwing shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Benson is trying to defend but Blackwing finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Benson won't allow Blackwing to pass to mount.

Benson is looking for a sweep. Blackwing is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Blackwing is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Benson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Benson!
Benson is fighting to break Blackwing's control of his arms but Blackwing is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Blackwing should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Blackwing is trying to hold Benson in close to prevent damage but Benson has managed to pass into half guard.
Benson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
