Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Rudolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin has chosen Im Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music. Chuck Rudolph has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chuck Rudolph!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Forrest Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin is looking to clinch.
Griffin throws a head kick but Rudolph moves out of range.
Griffin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rudolph.
Rudolph will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rudolph turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Griffin is looking for a sweep.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Rudolph is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Griffin can't fight it off and eventually Rudolph manages to take the fight to the floor. Griffin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Griffin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rudolph is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Griffin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rudolph's back instead.

Well Griffin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
