Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lonnie Pickard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lexi Belle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belle closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pickard to the mat! Pickard manages to get full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Belle trying to control the position from guard on top but Pickard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Belle missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Belle trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Pickard is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Belle is aware though and is defending well.
Belle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Belle thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Pickard might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Belle drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pickard dives on top into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Belle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Pickard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pickard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pickard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Belle on the ground.
Pickard works over Belle with some ground and pound from guard.
Pickard scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Belle is rocked!

Belle is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pickard defends well.
Belle is still in real trouble! Can Pickard finish him?
Pickard has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pickard makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Belle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pickard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pickard arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Belle's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
