Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Weston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Springer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jerry Springer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weston changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Springer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Springer tries to bench press Weston off him but Weston keeps the position.

Weston is working to tighten his grip on Springer's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Springer has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Weston is really squeezing tight and eventually Springer passes out! Weston breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
