Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jc Bright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayden Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Adams as Bright shoots in.

Adams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bright tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Adams swivels and escapes.
Bright scores with a one two! Adams had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Adams closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bright circles away.
Jc Bright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jayden Adams.

Bright has Adams up against the cage in a clinch.
Adams wants to take the fight to the mat but Bright manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Adams's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bright can't find room to land a body shot as Adams controls the action.

Bright goes for a takedown in the clinch but Adams prevents it.

Adams is trying to drag Bright to the mat but Bright just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bright breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bright keeps the fight on the outside.
Adams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Bright throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Adams was covering up waiting for the punch and Bright finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bright trying to control but Adams is working from the bottom.

Adams wants to sweep but no luck.
Bright has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Adams controls Bright momentarily but Bright frees himself.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jc Bright just wasn't active enough.
Adams fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Adams leaves Bright with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Adams tries to clinch there but Bright circles away.

Bright decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Adams tries to get to full guard but Bright has control of the leg.

Bright trying to control but Adams is having none of it.
Bright is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Adams can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Adams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bright. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Adams gets back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bright thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Adams's head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Adams is looking to control Bright's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Adams avoid being mounted?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bright is looking to take a break and control but Adams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bright keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bright throws a right hand that Adams ducks under and follows up with a left that Adams also avoids with ease.

Bright decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bright content to control rather than advance.

Bright wants to work for an arm triangle but Adams is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Adams is controlling Bright's position as best he can from this difficult position.
